... One of La Lunch's dresses
-- the custom-made iridescent green-and-pink gauze number -- would have
been perfect for Saturday night when the Cacophony Society and the Los
Angeles arm of Burning Man put on Lust
in Space at the B-12 Gallery on Ivar,
at which the Jetsons met Barbarella and spawned a surreal environment with
all sorts of entertainments: installations, light shows, D.J. Satan
Perry Bathous, a futuristic version of Match Game called Match Game 2075,
percussion from Matty the Mutator with stellar dancing from Electra, Diana,
Alabaster, and other planetary temptresses, plus music from Ape Has Killed
Ape and Astropanties. Speaking of panties, Matty has a collection
of items found during the party's cleanup, which includes: one red-silk
Chinese dress, very petite; one black-mesh lingerie dress; one pair mesh
burgundy panties; one pair black spandex pants with blue diamonds and rhinestones
on sides; and one pair small panties with green, white, and blue horizontal
stripes; and an army green tank top. If these belong to you and you
want them back, or if you are missing other nifty articles of apparel from
recent Cacophony events, you no doubt know how to reach the affable Mr.
Mutator....
