Looking
for More Burning Man?
Originally the collective brainchild
of core members of the San Francisco Cacophony Society, the Burning
Man Festival long ago assumed a life of its own. Since 1991,
Los Angeles Cacophony has been invited to the festival to create pyrotechnic
installations . (See our "Museum".)
We are very grateful to be part of this amazing event but are equally
determined to retain an identity distinct from Burning Man.
Burning Man does not
have an agenda. The Los Angeles Cacophony Society does, and
that agenda has nothing
to do with playing pagan, frolicing like naked pixies, or endlessly smacking
on drums.
Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.
